Schneiter lists the stock market among his interests. If he plays the markets half as well as his golf then he could be a very rich man.
He won the PGA Professional National Championship in 1995 and was also runner-up in 2003. He was the lowest scoring PGA professional at the USPGA Championship (2005) and won the Western PGA Professional Championship in 1997 and 2001.
Other titles include the Arizona Open (2004); Wyoming Open (2003 and '04); Long Beach Open (2004); Idaho Open (1993) and he was Utah PGA Section Champion (1993, '99, 2003 and '08).
Steve enjoyed a successful amateur career, winning the 1982 Utah State Amateur and earning 1987 All-American honours at Brigham Young University. He also won the Cougar Classic.
He has had three holes-in-one and his other interests include family and fly fishing.
