PGA CUP EXPERIENCE: Debut
Equally handy with a barbecue utensil or a golf club, Lippert qualified for the PGA Cup team with a share of fourth place in the 2009 PGA Professional National Championship.
Other achievements include qualifying for the AT&T National Pro-Am and beginning the Monterey Bay Chapter of the Northern California PGA Section where he also served as interim president.
He also served as vice president of the Northern California Apprentice Division and was credited in founding scholarship for Section apprentices.
Eric credits his improved play to working with 2003 PGA Teacher of the Year Laird Small of Pebble Beach. He has had one hole-in-one and a career low round of 61.
He lists his interests as movies and bowling while he also prides himself on his barbecue cooking skills and smoking meat.
