PGA CUP EXPERIENCE: 2007 and '09 (W5 L3 H1)
Bevan was the heartbeat of the side during the 2007 PGA Cup and revelled in the atmosphere with an undefeated record that brought him three wins and a half.
He will be a key man for Gary Alliss at The Carrick both for his steadiness as a player plus his fierce desire to defeat the Americans having come so close in Georgia.
With five victories under his belt in 2009, Bevan is hitting form at the right time and should figure prominently in foursomes and fourballs.
Other playing highlights include four Open Championship appearances (1999, 2006 , '07 and '08), making the cut in both '07 and '08. He earned entry to the 2006 Open at Royal Liverpool with a course record 66 at Conwy to qualify.
Other titles include the Sunderland of Scotland Masters and both the East Region Order of Merit and East Region Assistants' Order of Merit, all in 2001.
The former Essex PGA champion lifted the East Anglia Open Championship in the same year.
Away from golf Bevan is interested in all sports.
